Note: Large items such as appliances and furniture can be picked up for a fee-call our office for a quote.
*Empty paint cans or those with completely hardened paint may be placed in with your regular garbage.

Tips for Scheduled Pickup:
Please do not park vehicles in front of containers due for pickup. Place the container on either side of the driveway or at the edge of the curb. Allow six feet of clearance from the container from any obstructions such as streetlights, cars, trees, electrical poles, etc. and place the bins three feet from each other. Our trucks use a mechanical technique which lifts the bins and empties them into the waste disposal on the truck, be sure the lids to the bins are placed towards the street for proper removal. In the event that your garbage is scheduled to be picked up on a holiday, your garbage will be picked up the following day. Waste Connections of TN in Memphis does not collect trash or recyclables on the following holidays:
- New Year's Eve
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Christmas Day
